Edouard Beaupré   (born January 9, 1881 – died July 3, 1904) was a circus and freak show giant,strongman and was also a star at Barnum and Bailey's circus.

Life and DeathEdit

Edouard was the eldest of the 20 children in the family, in the newly-founded parish of Willow Bunch, SaskatchewanCanada, and was the first child to be baptized in the parish. He was of normal size at birth,but his height started increasing dramatically when he crossed the age of 3 and was a six-footer when he was 9 years old,and at the age of 17 he reached the height of 7"1.In 1902,2 years before his death,he was measured 8 foot 2.5 inches (2.50 metres) and he weighed over 400 pounds (180 kilograms). According to his death certificate he is 8"3 ands till growing. 

In 1902 Beaupré was diagnosed with tuberculosis. By the time he reached the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904, his  rapid growth and the disease had taken a heavy toll on him. He became ill and died at a local hospital in St. Louis on July 3, 1904. Even at the time of his death at age 23, doctors said he was still growing.
